they keep bringing in the same irrelevant examples, calculators can't replace mathematicians, tractors can't replace farmers, you're comparing a machine with an intelligent being. but ai and engineers are both intelligent, ai is actually as intelligent if not more so right now, so the fear is justified.
i think any job that doesn't require hand work will be replaced really soon, we have to face the reality to be able to prepare
