As someone who does do art: I think AI art has its place. My main example being when i host DnD as a DM i like to give my players a visual representation of the NPC so we're all on the same page. But i dont wanna sit there drawing every single NPC of all of the different cities so i generate AI images via CoPilot. I think for things like that and some other situations it's a great tool.
