Matt doesn't understand that if you never had a choice, you don't know you can choose. In fact, he embodies this bias. It's not about convenience, or whether there are systems that help us shielding from data mining. It's not about balancing the pros and cons within the system. Shoshana is denouncing the very system. The very idea that there is no alternative.
