Ahhh now i understand why S Korea is so tough on non-consensual deepfakes as per Johnny Somali idiot...more years to add to his sentence! a recently amended law in November 2024 means that for the first time acts of watching or possessing deepfakes is illegal and punishable with up to three years in prison. The maximum punishment is for those who produce or distribute deepfake porn content - this was increased from five to seven years in prison.
