They want to transform us into pets for AI. If AI will predict everything about us then what will be the point of us existing? AI could be used for good but we know this will not happen and even the tyrants will become victims of their own creation though the biggest area of research is probably how they alone can escape this fate., to sperate themselves from the totalitarian AI controlled pets. In other words how can they master AI to control it's power over the rest of us, to use against us basically.
