The AI's highest priority must be to protect the country from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
If we can understand that so can the machine.
Either these AI engineers think it can't be trusted or they think they're programming it to be untrustworthy. Maybe they're unamerican fellow travelers who don't want the constitution to reign Supreme.
