(Responding to the early setup - he goes into this more later but I'm sure not everyone will watch the full video)
Well... it's not "only" an issue when it replaces people. The power, water, and resources used for each individual prompt even just when "exploring AI" is an incredible harm to the environment and is also still predicated on illegal data collection. Using genAI or LLMs is just bad period, unless they can find a way to minimize environmental impact and do it ethically... which they never will, as that is not the point of these companies or Silicon Valley in general.
