One thing that I keep wondering about--if everyone is unemployed, who is going to be able to afford to buy/hire these robots to do all the work? Or buy products from companies that are solely using an AI/robot workforce? It seems to me that these robots would be incredibly expensive. I think the role of economics will surely be a big factor in putting the brakes on at least some areas of AI expanding and taking over all jobs.
