The amazing greed of technology companies doesn’t stop amazing me. If people lose their jobs to computers and robots, how the hell is people going to have money to buy the products the products those machines produce? They keep claiming that AI is not going to take jobs away from humans. We all know that is not true and there industries have changed because of AI. They canKt hide it. None the less, they (tech companies developing those machines) keep saying that AI won’t replace humans because AI doesn’t the innovative, creative, and think on the fly that humans have.  Hmm, but on the other hand they keep talking about how the goal of AI is to make computers/robots that can think as a human. So, are those computers will be able to think like a human, except for the innovative, creative, and think on the fly human abilities, really? It seems two very contradicting statements. But again, there is a long record of human jobs already lost to AI and robots.  The idea of “upscaling” does not make sense. He talked about a lead truck being driven by a human driver followed by driverless trucks. Correct me if I’m wrong, but if there is 5 trucks in a cavaran and only one has a driver, in my head that means that 4 loads were taken away from a human driver. How is that good for humans? That guy sounds more like someone with connections (direct or indirect — may be he invests in those companies) to the tech companies developing the driverless trucks. We need to take a stand against AI in the work force. And the only way we can do that is by voting out politicians that support such technology with very little to no overside. But with so many people voting for Dumb Trump, my faith in people is at an all time low. I can’t explain how people voted for him. He was open about what he was going to do. And the fact that he is a billionaire president, for the people… the multi millionaire and billionaire people, that is. I don’t mean to turn this into a political discussing, but I am just following the money lead to where it takes me. Back to the industrial tycoons and greedy politicians that sell their bill voting power to the highest bitter. What happened to the idea that our government was a government of The People, for and by The People? Both parties are pieces of crap. Too far right or too far left is what has gotten us in the mess we are in. That and the fact that our government loves ro stick its nose into other countries business. We are not the most hated country in the world for no reason. And not because we are “free” (wink wink,) because we are not. They have taken a lot of our freedom away from us, and they keep and will keep doing so because we let them. Did you know that in 2026 all cars manufacture in the US must have anti DUI technology built into it. So if your car thinks that you are intoxicated, it can refuse to start, report you, or who knows what. Because no one really knows. It’s all part of a law past in 2021 called the “2021 Infrastructure Investment Jobs Act.” Our phones are always spying in us. We have camera license readers in many cities. Facial recognition is grown at an alarming rate, for at least three decades they (US and EU banks) have been talking about getting rid of cash. That way they can track all your income and how you use your money. To commit a crime, even if you are innocent, they can freeze your back accounts. It’s hard to run when you have no money and you can’t get any.
