As someone who uses ai art i love this video! Awesome perspective and i love learning more about art. I am unfortunately unskilled and cannot draw great but i do like to try when possible. I dont have much free time now for practicing, but this is kind of my perspective. I make board games, card games, and i write stories. Since im severly lacking in art skills i make my prototypes using ai. Im able to get roughly 100 images that i like for $10. Ultimately i dont want the ai, it isnt the focus of my creative works. I view it as a tool to assist me in making something, anything, that can help me put my vision into the real world. For years i felt like i couldnt make anything good because i wasnt good at art. But being able to put an image to my ideas helped me break out more into the creative work im trying to do. I would much rather not use ai, i wish i was an artist and maybe i just need to do the pewdiepie 100 day challenge. I wish i could pay artists to make my vision for me but if i have to pay 5x more to get one image i feel like i cant financially support my desire to spread my ideas. That might sound like im just a little weak minded weakling who gives up too easily, but i want to keep creating and ai helps me feel more confident in what im making. Art is an amazing skill that takes years to cultivate. Any project i make i intend to use real artists and replace my placeholder ai art with real artists work. I suck at marketing and marketing ai is such a bad idea. Maybe i dont have enough confidence. Anyways, tldr i use ai as a placeholder to allow myaelf to feel like my creative work is actually working and i can see the potential end product, i use it like a rough sketch instead of like a final product. I want to pay artists but i dont feel like my efforts are being recognized by people...
