i mean in a way, even if disney just strongarms midjourney into having to buying(or more likely renting) a license to use their copyrighted work, that also sets a legal precedence of these companies needing a license to depict copyrighted work, and if they make this lawsuit hurt, companies themselves might start self regulating and limiting specific styles regarding single ips artist or company owned, which would definely hurt the market, and if they relyl are jst tourits, might just die down the trend.
Any which way this would set up groundwork for further regulation of generative ai.
