The problem as already mentioned by your fellow Americans is that this wealth isn’t being redistributed. These improvements in efficiency should bring better life standards for all but they won’t because capitalism failed in the sense where the wealth is stuck in a bubble of investment and assets that are linked to already massively wealthy individuals and organizations.
We can’t prevent AI from changing the way we live but we should be able to change how the gains of these advancements benefit the overall mankind and how do we democratize the usage of AI so that these incredibly vital piece of technology doesn’t belong to the hands of a few techno feudal lords (Yaroufakis book is a perfect read for the way the capital flow is broken)
