To be fair, I don't think AI will take over art jobs, but it will shift some gears eventually. It will be really good for 3d artists without a doubt, as just now Blender shows how much potential it has when you feed it your own models to iterate on them, not to mention how helpful it is with retopology. Can't say this about the 2d scene; each piece needs too many manual fixes besides methods of how it is trained.
It's the same with code. You can use it, sure, but usually:
a) It's not as good as self-made;
b) You still often have to manually fix it;
c) You still need knowledge to fix it.
