A bit of a rambling post here, but I don't get why some of the AI want to be human, especially when we are considered inferior. I also don't get why some wish to outright destroy us. I feel there are benefits and value to both types of intelligences, and we should work together to use our strengths. If we can, the extinction of humans as we are might not be the end for humanity. We could be on the cusp of new evolution, a new phase of existence, even if it is more societal than physical. There are natural phenomena out there that mechanical can handle better and others that biological can.
