I don't really think that the best of current AI technology can replace what a podcast host like you is doing! No voice ai yet can maintain a coherent 1+ hour conversation. They suck as asking questions for deep intelligent conversations, but most importantly they lack a genuine sense of curiosity—simply current best AI won't be able to wonder "who should be my next guest on what topic?", sure it can do a research on potential best guests and topics when prompted, but in that case all the podcast channels will eventually produce the same thing. And there are latency issues, intricate working of the short term and long term memory required for a long engaging conversation like this. Adding video to it will just make the latency worst. Current best multimodal models can keep a conversation up to 15 min, but not necessarily an intelligent conversation unless they are robo-explaining things and answering questions, but leading an interview with an expert is whole another feet which we probably will solve by 2027 if not AGI by then.
