I've been a fan of your work for a while. I worry im putting some sort of target on my back, but i don't agree with saying people who use ai mediums for art creation aren't artists. I empathize with the art community's worries of the mass automation of creative and art based jobs. But whenever I hear someone bash ai artists, calling them "lazy" or "not real artists" it's always rubbed me the wrong way. I love art and it's capacity to express feelings and emotions, it's ability to mutat and change depending on it's user. Though out history over and over again, groups of artists have tried to stake the claim THEY know whats art and whats not. That there art is real and true art, while others is stupid, lazy, or "not real art". Time and time again, they were wrong. Art is art no matter whether you use a paint brush, a pencil, digital pen, or an ai program. It's a way to express ideas and tell stories. To convey feelings, impossible to put into words. To leave a mark of yourself in this world, so that maybe on day someone will see it and even for just a moment UNDERSTAND you even after your gone. Someone im close to is an artist, they've used many mediums to create art. Drawings, painting, charcoal, digital, Photoshop, and recently ai. To watch them go through trial and error of going through the dozens of ideations, just get the product there looking for. The communities that have sprung up around ai art, people sharing ideas and prompts. How can I not look at It all and not see just another branch of passionate artist making art? I like to imagine future history books talking of ai art like any other art movement. And im excited for whatever new art mediums come next. All I ask is for people to be more empathetic, maybe im the wrong one here. I don't believe I am but maybe. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.❤
