I drive for a living and....
1. I realize the reality of a situation a long time ago.
2. In the 1940s there was a radio thriller about how shortly after a group of scientists invented a "mechanical mind" they all start dying mysteriously, one by one. Spoiler warning: The murderer was the lead scientist. He realized the mechanical mind would create mass unemployment and collapse society on a global level. So he's trying to kill off anyone you knew how to build and repair them. Unfortunately even though it only took him a few days to kill everyone. The mechanical mind already learned how to build and repair itself. Again the story was written and produced in the 1940s.
3. Even if you think you have an AI proof job. How many people do you think will be left who are able to afford to hire you? Over 60% of Americans work at a "desk job". During the Great depression the unemployment peaked 25%.
