As a growing artist, I will admit that I have used AIs before. I will admit that sometimes it can be entertaining to see what it comes up with using a silly prompt. But I would NEVER. EVER. Post any of the AI “art” online, or be toxic to victims of art theft. It hurts to see when AI “art” is posted online. It hurts when it gets more views and likes than a true artist’s piece in which they poured their blood, sweat, and tears. It hurts when that same artist’s piece is stolen by that same AI to be used in someone else’s twisted “art piece”. It hurts that this issue has gotten this far, so far to blatantly recreating other true artist’s works and claiming that there’s nothing wrong. And it hurts that we’re going to have to live with this. Though I doubt anyone is reading this, thank you for listening to my rant. Sam, if you happen to be reading this, thank you for speaking out. And, though I HIGHLY doubt it, if anyone who uses and posts AI “art” on social media… please do what you can and stop.
