Wage insurance is a nice idea, but in the sense of "what will we do if people lose their job because of AI" it's pointless. Once that really starts going, it wont get better after two years. It will just get worse and worse (from the perspective of having a job), forever. for the majority of people.
And universal capital is just waiting for people to mess up and lose it all. And then it's all your own fault for losing it, so tough luck.
