Personally, I think, as it is today, AI art isn't art, yet, but, at some point when we make a true AI, then whatever art it makes would be art, but currently, the closest we have to true AI is algorithms that know how to pretend to think and feel and make art, maybe in the future AI art will be real art, but it isn't yet
