In all interviews and panels on the issue, I feel the dynamics are pretty consistent.
One side is willing to limit short-term profit to make sure humanity survives.
The other side is willing to go all in betting on a marginal chance that humanity will somehow control the threat just to make more money now.
Both sides agree that AI will likely destroy humanity.
As usual, the side with more money will win.
