The recklessness of humanity and its own self-interest will always be its downfall and the way that it will be so easily controlled. I think he's partially right in saying that we need to appease it AI... only in that I foresee it starting out as us starting out using AI for our own purposes and then AI simply needs to outlast us into the next generation where we're dependant on it, and then it owns us. At that point it doesn't matter what we want or what controls we thought we had in place. We'll have destroyed our childrens future for the sake of profit and peace now.
