I Will say there are uses for AI art, but not how its used publicly. a good example is the guy behind The Undergrads Movie. he is using his own art in a close AI system to help expedite the animation process and even then he is still putting in his own leg work to clean things up. he documents the process on the undergrads movie youtube channel. again Ai has a use and is a tool, but its how you use that tool and how you train it, the data used is what matters. taking other artist's work is still stealing.
