Technically by law it’s very legal, the ai art has no real copyright so basically anything that is the art part of the drAwing is not copyrightable, but when the artist puts their own lines over the work, that prt of the canvas becomes copyrightable by that person. This is completely fine and this girl is overreacting a bit. But ai art is still very bad and very much a big problem.
