My fascination with AI effectively ended when I realized that artists were the canaries in the coal mine. The same pattern had already played out with AI "writers," and it was only a matter of time before AI "musicians" and "filmmakers" would be just around the corner, bringing all the same BS and drama to those fields.
And yes, I can confirm, AI "musicians" make all the same arguments (adapted to the medium, of course) and they hold up just as poorly.
What really made me laugh was seeing the incredulity surrounding so-called "vibe coding." Like, it's the same shit. Slop Code is no different from Slop Art, it's all just a facsimile of a most likely result with no consideration for context or process.
