As a professional software engineer of 25 years of experience I can say Ai's biggest threat is not to "wipe out the working class", it's more of an existential threat to democracy and as an extension to the human race. Fascists abuse Ai to spread misinformation and propaganda that fools people into voting against their interests, we have been witnessing this first hand since as early as 2015-2016, it's just culminating right now as we speak.
