Just wait till they begin implanting their networked AI controlled ID and biometric economic transaction monitoring and rationing, loyalty filtering and testing chips. Mark of the Beast anybody? There probably also will be some kind of offer to those who accept this mark of immortality and even some kind trans-humanist ascension and metamorphosis into super human demi god's. There will also probably be some form of genetic chromosomal modification what exactly is hard to say but my guess is something along the lines of the hybrid mix of celestial human "star seeds" from the fallen angelic watchers of the book of Enoch. As for the people that offer up a glib, smug, trite, presumptuous dismissive false explanations as folklore mythology or eruptions from the collective unconscious you might need to reevaluate and reexamine the adequacy of the existing phenomenological reference frame and paradigm construction.
