You basically confirmed what I've been saying for years. I personally do feel that the phrase "ai is taking our jobs" has validity. Yes, we will need people with knowledge and skills in the future to be good prompters. And even today people using AI need a decent level of knowledge and skills. But I have with my own eyes watched companies take people with 2 years experience but comfortable with AI replace a person with over 10 years experience, because careful use of AI put them on almost on the same level. And on top of that I've seen companies where a single dev became capable of handling what used to be done by 3 people because AI is often pretty quick and reliable. However, there is likely to always be programmers but some of us are losing jobs.
