The “AI makes art accessible” is a ableist rhetoric, and it genuinely offends me. I’m disabled and have been an artist for as long as I can remember. Something that has made art accessible is digital art! I have a horrible tremor somedays and if I need to I can turn on a stabilizer, for example. The fools that peddle AI like to use disabled people as a shield from criticism without realizing a big chunk of the artist community is disabled. Frankly these people don’t really know anything about the art community judging by their arguments alone lol.
Great video, the art pieces are beautiful and I found the part about being inspired and you talking about the hills you drew really touching.
When my grandmother passed away I noticed I suddenly have a very strong draw to the color purple when I didn’t before, my makeup has been purple and I’ve been adding purple into the drawings I’ve been working on. Then I was reminded her favorite color was purple 🥹. So I think that’s probably why I’m so subconsciously drawn to it. It definitely shows that humans are so much more complex than these AI’s.
