The future will be as distopic as it can get. There will be an almost closed society and world for the rich and ultra rich and products will be mainly for them. With AI there is no need for most of mass of workers in production of goods, and the customers of very expensive goods (like specialized robots, or luxury things) will a future not only rich but almost politically absolute rich class. At some moment middle and lower class will be isolated from basic natural resources because of cost. It is not a good time to be a nationalist, the government will fuck up his own people. No political philosopher predicted this. Not even Marx. Production will be emancipated from workers, and the government will be tied to the rich, more than ever. Dead end.
