99% of art is in public use you cannot complain that it is used without your agreement. The inspiration thing is the closest analogy you can get. Also there are millions upon millions types of models, so we cannot just go ahead and say some specific statements about all of them. Like "AI creates a direct copy".
I am an artist myself, as well as AI engineer. I understand how it can be upsetting being replaced, so all is left to scream pointing towards non-existent legal points.
