My understanding was that this was already determined by a monkey taking a photo. Seriously, it helped define copyright requirements, because the copyright holder would’ve been the monkey, and monkeys can’t own copyrights. The same logic applies to computers and AI. It’s a no go. This is less a new development and more a victory lap.
