As a veteran licensing agent for over 40 years i agree with everything you say and sympathize. However you fail to mention that AI CAN be used ethically despite the scraping of copyrighted images. Artists have used other artist’s work as inspiration always and new movements have been created by this premise. Its all about honesty. Creating unique prompts and drawing on many styles of art, an artist can create new styles of art never seen before. You may see the influences but the art in itself can be unique. Its an important point that is often overlooked. Thank-you for your insights.
