People thinking AI will take over: no. What will happen is greedy companies trying to act like everyone and everything can be replaced by AI, pretend that that all goes great with AI, pay people to write glowing articles and stuff but in the end it turns out AI isn’t good at general tasks. And in the end people are still needed. People will always be needed. Simple truth. Ai will definitely be helpful but taking over? No. It can’t. The only thing that can happen is that we, humans are lazy and rely too much on it. Because then we’ll be in for a cold shower. Not a takeover, but limitations. Ai is not boundless. It has physical and metaphysical limits. To give one: energy consumption. The best AI can do is scamming and Excel. If you have paid attention you would have noticed the things AI “poses a threat to” are things like tests and essays. Predictably and with known rules. Humans have known workarounds around them for decades. It’s called cheating. Unpredictable and unruly they don’t know how to or don’t respond well to. And art will be fine.
