I think one of the assumptions that you have is that the majority of people look at art the same way you do. I am somebody that does not know anything about any artist and I have bought prints of art without knowing anything about the artist or even caring about the artist. I just simply saw a pretty picture that I liked and bought a print of it to showcase. I believe the mass majority of people are simply consumables of the art that being the actual finish product and have no care for the artist or the work that was put into making that piece of art. With being somebody that likes to make pictures with AI I can very much see that artist feel the same way they do not care or acknowledge any extra work that could have been put into to make the picture with the exception of assuming that you constantly rewriting the prompt use. When it comes to AI pictures artist do not seem to acknowledge that somebody can take it out of the AI program and put it into Photoshop to make changes and then put it back into the AI software to do more things. Artist also don't seem to acknowledge that the software that actual hobbyist of AI use is more than just a prompt window and a button to generate. With a program like automatic 1111 you can add on many things like control net, a inpainting and many other tools to leverage the power of the AI model in different way within the same program and as I had said before using all of that in conjunction with Photoshop to make collections are to use it as a way to guide the AI to generate what you want.
