I think it is necessary to note that LLM’s are still a mathematical concept and use vector and matrix algebra to simply predict the best output for a given situation based on provided training data. It is not a scheming machiavellian creature which secretely plots the destruction of humanity, it is still fundamentally an emergent property of linear algebra and vector calculus. These videos about catastrophic AI scenarios distract from the real dangers of AI, such as mass surveillance.
