I totally agree on the AI as we see them today are very primitive and is not real art in itself and i fear the future for our wonderful artists out there .. and also the ones that are only amateurs..
If we just could use technology like image generation to get inspired to learn it ourselves..
See as an absolute amateur in drawing i tried ai buy it never actually did the thing I wanted.. So i got frustrated..
