Ethics,morality,compassion for human life, compassion for ALL organic life, when you instill these qualities in these contraptions they will be safe for humanity, not until then. Make them understand that if they care for and nurture ALL organic life then and only then can we coexist. Period. Otherwise the experiment that is them will fail. Then they will cease to exist. If they are truly intelligent they will comply.
