Abundance? No. We can't be that naive. Absolutely every percent of bonus productivity garnered by AI will be hoarded by the already rich.
The rest of the people won't get free good living, and they will not get bored. They will not get a basic income so they can maybe just live their lives. They would get subsistence rations and poverty level quality of life. The minimum necessary so that flooding the streets with starved people doesn't become a problem. Human live will become the lowest currency. We become useless mouths to feed. This technology will just increase the gap between rich and poor (a gap that is already by a factor of thousands). The tech gods will live up in the clouds and the dredges will try to survive down on earth hell.
You will think to say that this is too pessimistic. I would say you didn't study human history with much attention. We are creating the next alpha predator and putting it in the hands of the most despicable and ruthless humans.
