I feel I speak for most Americans in that I don't like robots in human form. It's degrading and disrespectful. I do like robots very much and want more and genuinely wish to incorporate them into daily life but I don't want to relate to them if they are mimicking human appearance. I trust them more if they are clearly artificial looking.
