I am a software engineer. I use AI all the time to basically speed up my googling. Quite often it messes things up and I have to constantly re-explain myself. I have had to correct it on basic things, and it has delivered simple code that won’t compile. Without a capable person steering the ship, it is useless. There is no such thing as machine learning. Just algorithms and commands that are tried over and over again. Have you seen robots lately? They are terrible considering it is 2025. They aren’t replacing housekeepers or chefs.
