“Ai art gets inspired by others just like real artists do” are you comparing me to a machine that does not understand art but simply mimics it?
Ai doesn’t take inspiration, it copies. I take inspiration and come up with my own ideas, study how things look in real life, flesh out my own made-up characters and worlds, ever growing and changing by my own volition.
And I’d do it with zero profit incentive, unlike the companies that make generative ai for money. I make art because I love art, not because I think I can rip people off.
This is not the same, and if you think it is, you don’t value art or the people who create it.
