These AI bros fundamentally misunderstand what art is. They think, because capitalism has trained them to do so, that art is consumption. You watch a show, and then you move on to the next. You read a book, and immediately move on to the next, you look at a painting, and next. It's not about expression, its not about communication, it's about consumption. And that's why they'll never really get anywhere with it, because its not authentic to the human condition. And that's ignoring the obvious comparison between using Dal.E and commissioning an artist.
Shad's entire public facing persona just sort of screams insecurity, -especially- in regards to art.
