I’m pretty sure that the robot can’t see things that an experienced driver would see and start slowing down. Heads up and locked looking straight ahead when everyone in the lane next to you starts stopping is a sure sign that someone is going to change lanes and pull in front of you. The robot can’t see that and doesn’t slow down.
