Closed and downvoted at the "Most Autocomplete don't solve math Olympiad level problem", that was the perfect example of an instance where GPT was mostly used as fancy autocomplete to solve a benchmark (It offered several solutions, several experts chose among the solution offered, and this process was iterated to arrive at a solution).
These people see ChatGPT as the singularity because they are very much like it: they talk fast about everything and have mastered Gish Gallop but have no internal reasoning skills.
