i will forever be sad about people like that. i worked my ass off teaching myself how to draw with pretty poor fine motor skills and without really being able to see pictures in my head. i wasn't an artsy kid, but i really wanted to draw, so i did. i started when i was 11 or 12 and now at age 22 i can draw fairly well with references, but i have a loooooong way to go. and switching from traditional to digital has been really hard for my confidence, but you can only improve if you actually practise. i'm not better than anyone else for being an artist, but i am better than someone who uses ai art with these excuses, because i'm not a pussy.
