I work in AI. She is iterating what we in the industry knew years ago.
We understood LLMs and Multimodals in design and implementation were solving specific problems. All the way back to ML we’ve specialized to solve specific problems like manufacturing defect prevention or retail surveillance.
The problem in social media and print is they ignorantly listen to popular industry voices and leaders who have a financial agenda to say they are close to AGI.
It’s important for us to gather opinions from objective smart industry participants. Else we are just spreading misinformation.
