While AI energy and water use is concerning and increasing, how does it really compare to other human uses? Agriculture, particularly beef production, uses tremendous amounts of energy and water. Manufacturing, particularly cement production, also uses large amounts. Even flushing all our toilets uses a lot of water. How does AI compare to these? It's hard to know what really to do without more context.
