AI can be good for some things. Like if you need art passable right now (youtube thumbnails), or you want to test something out. It's not very good for long term engagement. Anything someone is going to look at for more than about 15 seconds gets better results with human art (I've run tests). And people are getting "AI fatigue". AI creates these amazing impossibly detailed images, but once you get used to them, they just look like noise. It'll be interesting to see what happens once it starts to get used for realtime rendering in games.
