What's hardly ever mentioned is that this is generative AI, the low level type. On top of it, it gives unreliable results, which have to be verified by a human.
It has made Google search results worse for one.
The industry doesn't have general AI, scientent AI, but they act as they did.
This is just another corporate hype designed to generate profit.
